Random Events in with Christine Olivar (one of unknown number)

(The original plan is to post the story I am writing about Christine on her birthday, I couldn't because It is unfinished, so I recalled random moments that I couldn't forget with Tinek, I hope you guys will post your own random moments with Christine someday soon)

 

It was the day Christine approached me before we entered our class for Psych 101 and she said "Alam mo, naaastigan ako sa'yo" or something like that. She freaked me out, permanently because of that. When I asked her why she never really gave me a clear answer, that was the day that Christine Olivar became more than a random character in my world.

It was the day she spoke her mind freely about her different views as to what defines a female during the Gender and Sexuality reporting. It simply defined her and her feminist views, her fighting spirit too. It just proves that if Tinek knows what she is talking about and fells she has good enough reason to talk about it she will shed her shyness and speak.

The days, however rare, that I could YM her during the unholiest of hours. She tells you exactly what she wants to, she will act like she's drunk because she will be a bit different from the Christien you know (you think you know). It is so cool I'm making ashort story out of it.

Adventures, the travelling we did on the place we thought we knew. As she calls it, UP na hindi mukhang UP, across the grass, throught mud, up, down, and backward. That is how she wants to see the world, from a different angle.

Silences, when we don't share jokes, when we don't talk mock intelectual talk, when we are not arguing about feminism and other stuff, when we just sit down and be silent. Those are moments I like.

Cleaning the black paint spilled at the PHAN stairs, there are somethings about your friends that will make you better friends, seeing them cleaning stuff with you is one of those things.
